I won't be doing Project 365 this year..I really had fun doing this, BUT it was hard to get a picture every day, my family just ran the other way when I would get the camera out... I am hoping that you will come visit me on my other blog: sandy from ukiah. Everett and I went to see Aunt Eloise today.. she is such a character... she ask me what I was doing with all these pictures and Everett told her we use them for a DART BOARD.. She really loves Everett...

I was going to make her an album of all of them when they were going to move her to Reno, but I never did since she didn't move... I would still like to make her one.. maybe next year. I can't believe tomorrow is the last day of my 2010 journey... I am really going to miss doing this.. and even thought about doing it again, but everyone said a very LOUD NO when I said I was thinking of doing it again... maybe if I can get this one scrapped in 2011 I will do another one in 2012..

I am still using Alex's old phone... They didn't call me about my iphone being in today, but I went down to get the tracking # on it so I could track it. Aaron was looking to see if any had come in and he asked a lady that was leaving if they had any, that it showed they did.. she looked a little uncomfortable and said, "I don't have one...."... I said "Well how many do you have?" AND she said 20... 20 iphones and they said I couldn't have one... I was a little upset because last night they told me if I PAID for it last night IF ANY IPHONES CAME INTO THE STORE, I WOULD GET IT FIRST... Aaron felt really bad that they were saying I couldn't have one... BUT what really made me sad was that another young man told me not to come back in that they would call me... I was so upset about the whole thing.. I am going back in to talk to the manager tomorrow and tell him I don't appreciate being told not to come back in and that I was promised that if any came in that I was to get it... I am really thinking about going to Verizon.. but I don't know how good they are in our area...I really miss my iphone.
I don't mind (well I do a little) having to wait because I choose to give Alex mine iphone, I don't like being told one thing and they don't follow through with it. AND being told they would call me and not to come back.. I wasn't being ugly...

What a long long day... Brent decided to buy a new TV, and of course there is really no place here in Ukiah, so he asked me to go to Santa Rosa with him to get one. I was hoping we wouldn't be gone that long, because I had promised Alex that I would go get him a new phone. BUT we were gone till almost 5pm... So Brent and his new TV are my POTD.. Jimmy next door came over to help Brent put together the stand that he got to put the TV on. So then I was off to get Alex's iphone.. I have the iphone that has 32 something on it, Alex didn't have enough money to get the 32 and really wanted that one. If you remember not too long ago (3 weeks???) Apple replaced my iphone because if ended up in my pepsi - so I decided to be nice and I went gone down last night to see if I got the 16 if we could put Alex's info on the 32 and I would take the 16... they said yes - but I didn't get it last night, I wasn't sure if I wanted to give up my iphone for the smaller one- they said they had plenty and I could get it today. So when I went down tonight to get the 16 and put Alex's stuff on the 32, they tell me they didn't have any more.. I just couldn't believe it. So I felt really really bad that Alex has waited all day for me to go get the iphone and now they don't have one, so I told them to go ahead and delete everything off my iphone and put Alex's phone # on it.. they said I should wait till I was able to get the other phone to make sure all my contacts were backed up but I had told Alex that I would get it today and he had waited so patiently that I went ahead and had them delete my stuff and now Alex has a iphone and I don't have one.... but they said maybe tomorrow they would get some more in.. hopefully..

I have 2 very very special POTD today... Brent and Alex each brought me a Christmas present this year.. Brent brought a Kindle that made me cry.. I almost felt bad that he spend so much money on me. AND Alex brought me a beautiful pack of ME and MINE BIG IDEAS paper and some stickers.. they have never brought me a present before.. so I felt very special.

Christmas eve and Billy and I are the POTD.. God has blessed me in so many ways, and I am truly blessed that all my kids were able to be home for Christmas... Everett is down at the Christmas effort every year and doesn't make it home till around 5:30pm. Every Chrismtas eve we always have tacos for dinner.. we get everything right and when Everett finally makes it home, we eat and get the dishes done and then we all go into the front room. I read the Christmas story and we begin to open our presents, BUT I have put Bible verses on all the presents, and before you open your present, you have to read your verse...

Busy buys day, Karen came over and make pies with me again... I made two apples and the two empty ones will be for a chocolate and a lemon. Karen made two apples.. I cleaned the kitchen (which is a BIG BIG job) vacuumed and dusted the front room, cleaned the front bathroom... wrapped some of the presents and went out to eat with my friend Sue.. Brent asked me if I would pick him up a few things, so I after I had dinner with Sue I ran by Staples, JC Penny's then Kohl's. I am tired tonight..

I am going to have to start making Christmas cards EARLY next year. I just can't believe I didn't make any Christmas cards except the one I made for Aunt Eloise. I received these beautiful cards and I feel so bad I didn't send any out.. NEXT YEAR I am going to be ready.

Here they are all hung up between the front room and the kitchen.

And our internet still is working right.. I am so ready to go back to At&t.

The Comcast guy came today at 8:45am.. he was here for almost 2 hours. I left right after he left to have lunch with my friend Rebecca. I always have such a fun time when I am with her, I am truly blessed by her friendship. Then I had to take Alex to guitar lessons. So I didn't have time to see how the internet was doing, it seemed to be working fine before the comcast guy left... but now that I finally got home, it isn't doing well.. Everett is going to stop by and talk with them again tomorrow.

I have spend ALL day switching our internet over from At&t to Comcast, getting the printer to work, and trying to get my email to work on Comcast. I really don't know if Comcast is any faster than At&t. We will see....

I took Aunt Eloise a little Christmas tree today to put in her room. Everett tried to get us both and the tree in the picture... it has little lights on it and I told her it could be her night light. She looked so happy when she saw it. I wish I lived closer so I could go see her more than once a week... I just love her. She is such a character, she was at the window in the living room when we got there, I went back to her room to put the tree up and Everett stayed out in the living room with Aunt Eloise. On my way out to the living room, Betty asked if I could sit and visit with her for a little bit... I finally made it out to the living room and Aunt Eloise said, "I thought you came to see me"...

I was on my way to church this morning and got a call from Karen saying "Tony had wrecked her car AGAIN" - I was just about a block away from where they were.. I was so thankful that neither one of them were hurt. And the car is totaled AGAIN ... We had planned on getting our Christmas tree and decorating the house today... this is the only week end we were all going to be able to do it, so we went ahead and got it done, I think it was good for Karen, it sort of kept her mind off the fact that she is again without a car... But God is always faithful.. we will see what He has planned for her.

We are picking out that PERFECT Christmas tree, don't we look like we are having fun...

Brent doesn't want to be seen.. you have heard that saying, I don't see you you don't see me..

I can't believe Everett is going to let me go.. I was so excited when he said I could go today that I called to book me a spot but I found out that if I don't have a roommate, then the price is double. :-( Well I can't go if the price is going to be double.. Last night my iphone accidentally fell into my glass of pepsi... :-( I was soooo sad. I took it down to our At&t store here in Ukiah, they said I would have to take it to the Apple store in Santa Rosa and I would have to pay BIG MONEY to get it replaced.. I thought well that's the end of my iphone, and I had really enjoyed it. It was time to take Alex for his allergy shot in Santa Rosa, but he is still not feeling well, and didn't want to go, but I decided to go and talk to the people at the Apple store... I was telling the man what had happen and I had only had it for a few months.. he took it into the back room to check it out and came out and told me, "yes, it was gone".. BUT he was going to replace it for me... I looked at him and said, "do I have to pay you????" and he said, NO.. God is so good to me. I am going to be really more careful..

I signed up for this class yesterday and I have been playing with it ALL day long. I love to do things like this. I took a DOS class at our Junior College a few years ago and loved doing it. BUT I ran into some problems, I was able to figure them out, but I am stuck and can't figure out one little thing. Hoping they will get back to me tomorrow...

Our electricity went off tonight at 6pm... about 7pm Everett got out the generator and hooked up our pellet stove, my laptop and Alex is now hooking up his X-Box. It's tough when you have to rough it.

Everett hooked everything into this thing... looks scary doesn't it. It's 8:51pm and we are still roughing it.

Everett and I went to see Aunt Eloise today, I wanted to stop at Michael's in Santa Rosa (just for a few minutes - I was in there for 45 minutes.. and all I got was the soap I was looking for. I wanted to buy some new carts. but they didn't have what I wanted..) Everett was waiting very patiently out in the car.

Aunt Eloise was feeling sad today... (and a little ornery too) . I was sitting on the couch,, and I said, " I really don't like this couch." It's one of those that doesn't have a back and just has pillows.. well she looked at me and said, "Well if you don't like it just get the h___ of of here. I started laughing and went over and gave her a hug and said someone is being a little ornery today... I am still in shock she said that, she doesn't usually talk like that...

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving... I had to re-take this picture several times, I don't know what was wrong, but the first time the pictures were blurry and everyone (except Alex) was willing to come and let me re-take the picture again.....God is so good to me.

It was one of those days that you just go and go and go.. Karen wanted to make pies with me, so she came over about 9:30am (I really didn't want to start baking that early, but that's the only time she could come)... she had to leave so I finished baking her pies, put my in the ice box and ran Alex to class. He still isn't feeling well, so I called and they were able to see him today at 3:o0pm. So in between taking him and picking him up from the college, I ran home, finished my pies, and got my supper started, so Everett could put it in the over at 4pm, I thought we would be forever at the doctors, but we only had to wait about 15 minutes.. got a prescription for some antibiotics, I ran Alex home and got Everett and we then ran to the store to finish getting what we need for our Thanksgiving dinner tomorrow, stopped and picked up Alex's prescription.. got home just in time to take my dinner out of the oven. Whew makes me tired just typing all this. I hope everyone has a WONDERFUL THANKSGIVING....

It has fallen on the hood, it had fallen on the trunk a few times.. at least it just kissed my car this time... I am taking it in Dec 6th to get it fixed... not a good picture...

Well I am just speechless.. this is the 2nd package I have gotten in the mail this week... Monday I received that BEAUTIFUL necklace with the picture of me and aunt Eloise from Audredy which make me cry it, and today I received this AMAZING TOTALLY AWESOME mini book from Carol over at Each Day in the Life of Carol 2010. Wow, if I don't feel special, God has blessed me with so many wonderful friends. Thank you so so much Carol, I have wanted one of these and this is so beautiful, the picture doesn't do it justice at all, I wish you all could see it in person, Carol did an amazing job on it. There are so many cool little things that she has put on it, and the little tabs pull out.. I should have taken a picture of each page, you would not be believe how gorgeous it is.

Audrey from Cute and Some send me this BEAUTIFUL necklace that she made and a beautiful card.... It's a little picture of aunt Eloise and me. I can't believe she did this for me. I am so speechless, no one has done anything so special for me. She is one amazing lady and I am so blessed to be one of her many friends, thank you my friend... (it was Everett's idea to put it around my neck in a photo of me and the boys- )

Last night Judie #1 said that Grass Valley had a Ben Franklin that had a great scrapbook section, so I woke up at 6:15am this morning and decided to run over there before starting for home. Judie #1 said it was about 45 minutes.. well I decided to argue with my GPS I didn't want to go the way it was telling me, so I spent about 15 minutes trying to go the way I wanted to, but finally decided to do what the GPS was telling me... I left Grass Valley (I only brought a few sheets of paper that I really didn't need, but being as I had gone all that way...) then I decided to stop back in Roseville and go to JoAnn's (I didn't buy anything there) and then I went to Elks Grove and there I got a few of Tim Holtz's stuff... so my poor little car was on the road from 8:30am till I got home at 6:35pm... we are both tired... oops looks like I dropped one of my shoes as I was unpacking the car..

I left Ukiah around 11:00am this morning, I am on my way to Napa to see Aunt Eloise and I am going to spend the night with my friend Nancy because I am going on to Roseville for a scrap crop (if I left Ukiah tomorrow morning I would have to get up at 4am, staying with Nancy saves me 2 hours of driving time so I don't have to get up till 6:30am). We had such a fun time, we played a game of cribbage and a game of Yahtzee. (and I won)
A few weeks ago I made a cupcake sock for Aunt Eloise, and decided to make one for Betty, she's the little lady in the picture with Aunt Eloise and me. So I took it to her today. Now I feel bad I didn't make one for the other 3 ladies.. so I will probably make them each one.

My friend Sue and I went out for lunch today. I know it seems like I am always going out to eat. (and I didn't do anything to my hair and went out looking like this and having my picture taken...) BUT today I spend alot of time driving Lorrie crazy with questions about Photoshop... I know she has got to be pulling her hair out about now... Thank you so much for putting up with me Lorrie.. she is definitely a sweet heart.

My Bible study has decided to send some things to our soldiers. We decided to not only study God's Word, but to also be His feet and hands. And I got to be the "go to girl" and pick things up.

The other day Lorrie made me a button for my sandy from Ukiah blog and a button for my project 365 blog, wasn't that just too sweet of her . BUT I so wanted to be able to make one myself, so Lorrie has been helping me and today I finally got one that works (I hope it works)... so my POTD is the button that I made, I am so excited that I finally got it to work. I used Pete as my picture for something to put on my button, I want to try to do a frame a picture of my family. Thank you for all of your help Lorrie.

Bridget has been giving out some prompts to use for our POTD, today's was "wasting time".. I thought now what kind of picture can I get with this? God was quick to show me what I waste time doing. The San Francisco Giants beat the Texas Rangers for the World Series. What an amazing sight. A 100 thousand fans were waiting to cheer the Giants on.. the Giants haven't won the World Series since 1954.

Today was Ladies night at the casino, you pay $10 and they match your $10. If I go out I usually end of giving them my $10. But I talked Everett into going with me and told him he would have to give me $5... if he didn't then if I won big I wouldn't be able to share it with him... well he give me $5 and I put up $5 and lost our money. BUT coming home I was this tree and said isn't that pretty, that could be my POTD incase I can't find anything else, so I pulled over and toke a picture of it. I couldn't find anything else to take a picture of...

Everett and I went out to the casino to get our free $10 each.. and we "WON". I told Everett while we were waiting for the machine to give us all the money that I wish I could take a picture of the machine, and Everett said take one with your phone, so I did, wish I had thought to turn off the flash, but I was a little nervous taking it in the casino, I don't think you are suppose to take pictures in there, I will probably get banned from the casino, wouldn't that be sad. We walked out with $119.00 (we won $126 but played $6 of it before we quit...

Brent's new birth certificate came today. I am a little disappointed with it, it doesn't say "Evans" on it, it still has "Culver".. there was a letter enclosed with it that said, they can't change the original that it was a 2 page document. I am not really sure if I know what they mean. I am going to call on Monday. We send off for it back in May.. So now everything matches, his SS card, his drivers license and now his birth certificate. What an awesome God we have.

Alex got a pepsi box and stuffed Pete in it... I am yelling, take a picture. A few minutes later I saw Pete going into the box so I grabbed my camera again.. We just all love Pete.

God is so awesome. They are not going to move her. It's a long sad story, but I spoke with Mike yesterday and they had moved the date to moving Aunt Eloise to November 6th.. but Kimmie called today and said they were not going to take her.. I am thankful Aunt Eloise isn't having to move, but very sad about the things that were said. Thank you all for your prayers.

I have been taking Alex to the Chiropractic for about 5 months. I took him every week for the first couple months, but being as our insurance doesn't pay for it I have only been taking him every 2 weeks. At least it's here in Ukiah. he didn't want to stand by the window.

I still hadn't gotten my POTD when I went to Bible study tonight and as we were all chatting before we got started I saw Becca talking to Sandy Weiss and decided to snap a picture. (I had left my camera home so I had to use my phone). I feel so blessed to have gotten to know Becca. I always have such a fun time when we have a chance to visit, she is one of those people that you just can't help but love.

Every year the fair has an Appreciation Dinner for everyone that has helped out at the fair. Tonight was the Appreciation Dinner. They surprised Everett and gave him a LIFETIME FREE ADMISSION TO ALL THE FAIRS. He really does alot for them, if they have a problem they call him and he always goes down to help them out.

I woke up this morning at 2AM.. (I tired really hard to go back to sleep, but just wasn't going to happen) I think I was worried I wasn't going to wake up at 5AM.. I left Ukiah at 6AM and got to the Green Tangerine right at 9:30AM... I had the best time making new friends. AND even scrapped some. What an AWESOME scrapbook store this is.

I am getting ready to go to a scrap crop at the Green Tangerine on Saturday, I am packing tonight because tomorrow Everett and I are going to see Aunt Eloise and by the time we get home it will be late, and I am leaving Ukiah at 6am Saturday morning but Everett is letting me spend the night so I don't have to drive home at midnight. I usually take almost everything I own and then not use half of it, so this time I am only taking the paper that I plan on using (I probably will have to buy some, darn..) and a few kits that I brought from Monique that I haven't done...

As I was dusting today I looked at my doll.. many years ago I used to make dolls and what is strange is my sister Sharon used to make them too (and we didn't know the other one was doing it, AND we happen to make one of the same dolls). I had made this dress for mine doll and one day Sharon came up to Ukiah (she lived in Manteca) and she saw my doll's dress and said, "Oh will you make my doll one?".. well this dress was really hard to make, and I really didn't want to, BUT her 50th birthday was coming up and I decided to surprise her and make one for her. I have so many special memories of her. I still miss her so much. But God was so good to let me spend the last week with her.

I am so pleased, I have been cleaning and cleaning. Finally got the kitchen cleaned yesterday and today it was time to clean those BATHROOMS again. My POTD is my cleaning supplies (forgot to put the shower cleaner in the picture)... I usually spend days cleaning then I am tired of it and everything falls apart because I don't do anything for days... I am trying really hard to stay on top of it. I would so love to be able to just clean for a few hours and then have some time to scrap, but it never seems to happen that way.

Aunt Eloise is the sweetest little thing. I really think she enjoys getting her picture taken every week. I am so thankful that I get to go see her every week... We had a great visit, she even laughed a little. We left Ukiah at 9:30am, I was hoping we would get home earlier than we did, we got back to Ukiah at 4:45pm. AND we didn't even stop at Costco. Marti's son is getting married tomorrow and I am going to try to make one of those darling little boxes that Audrey made to put a gift card in.

Everett is my POTD - he came into look at the book on how to fix Alex's car. Brent has been driving it for at least 7 months and drove it on empty - which wasn't a good thing -apparently when you drive on empty it pulls up the dirt off the bottom of the tank, so now it needs a new fuel pump plus new brakes... I am thankful that Everett knows now to do these things. God is always so good to us.

I had such a wonderful weekend. Our speaker was excellent and I just love all of the ladies AND this is Cheri, she is one of the sweetest ladies you could ever meet. She used to go to our church, years ago and even though she goes to a different church she still comes and does ALL the cooking for us and we don't even pay her.... What an awesome lady she is. She knows I don't like melted cheese, and always makes something special for me if she is cooking something with melted cheese.. isn't she just too sweet.
